An Introduction to Pilates
Hopefully you may have seen some of my adverts and flyers around extolling the virtues of Pilates, but maybe wondered what it was all about?
My Pilates beginners course is a mat based gentle exercise programme that concentrates on slow, controlled, flowing movements primarily strengthening the core muscles that stabilize and support the spine, realigning the body and correcting postural problems.

Mat-based Pilates
This is a gentle form of exercise suitable for everybody - truly all ages and ability. We use slow, continuous movements aimed at strengthening the core muscles that stabilize and support the spine.
This can improve poor posture, relieve back and other muscular pain. It will also improve stamina and flexibility and can help relieve headaches, stress, incontinence and improve self esteem.
